Start with the honest version: if you're looking at Bulwark coveralls, the brand name is the last thing I check. I care about three things—the hazard standard on the label, whether the garment fits, and whether the paperwork backs up the label. Get those right, and a mid-priced coverall will outperform an expensive one that's wrong for the job. Now the odd one: a fire alarm blinking red. A blinking red light on a fire alarm panel can mean different things depending on the system—or rather, depending on the model and its status. Sometimes it's a normal status light; sometimes it means a fault or low battery. I'm not a fire alarm technician, so I'll be honest about my limits.
